Eligibility Criteria (Sports Achievement)
Applicant must be currently an active player.
✅ Sports achievement should be fulfilled on or after 01.04.2023.
✅ Certificates supporting sports achievement must be submitted with application.
All championships must be conducted under recognized federations & recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB)
Minimum Sports Norms (Pay Level Wise)
Level-2 / Level-3 (GP ₹1900 / ₹2000)
Candidate must fulfill any one:
- Represented Country in Category-B Championships/Events OR
- At least 3rd position in Category-C Championships/Events OR
- At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
- At least 3rd position in National Games under IOA OR
- At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship (AIU) OR
- 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
Level-1 (GP ₹1800)
Candidate must fulfill any one:
- Represented Country in Category-C Championships/Events OR
- At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) OR
- Represented a State/Unit (except Marathon/Cross Country) with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships
Categorization of International Championships
- Category-A: Olympic Games (Senior)
- Category-B: World Cup, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics, Davis Cup, Champions Trophy, Thomas/Uber Cup
- Category-C: Commonwealth Championships, Asian Championships/Asia Cup, South Asian Federations Games, USIC (World Railways), World University Games
Junior National Championships (Recognized by RSPB)
For Junior National achievements, only these are recognized:
- Archery (Men): Under-19 Junior National Archery Championship
- Athletics (Men/Women): Under-20 Junior National Athletics Championship
- Weightlifting (Men/Women): Under-20 Junior National Weightlifting Championship
