Nabarangpur Land Acquisition Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Office of the Tahasildar-cum-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Nabarangpur for 09 contractual posts.

The Office of the Tahasildar-cum-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Nabarangpur has released Advertisement No. 425/2026 dated 04.02.2026 for engagement of retired Government employees and eligible fresh candidates on contractual basis.
The recruitment is for smooth functioning of land acquisition work relating to the Junagarh–Nabarangpur New BG Rail Link Project under the provisions of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria (Post-Wise)

1️⃣ Section Officer

• Must have retired from the post of Section Officer / Senior Revenue Assistant (S.R.A.).
• Must possess sound knowledge in drafting, establishment matters, service rules and office procedure.
• Must have working knowledge of computer operation.
• Must be of good character and sound health.

2️⃣ Revenue Inspector

• Must have retired from the post of Revenue Supervisor / Revenue Inspector / Assistant Revenue Inspector.
• Must possess adequate field experience in revenue and land acquisition matters.
• Must be physically fit and of good character.

3️⃣ Data Entry Operator

• Must have passed at least +2 Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Must possess Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
• Must have working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, data entry and e-mail.
• Must be above 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed at least a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard.
• Must be of good character and sound health.

4️⃣ Amin

• Must have retired from the post of Amin OR must possess Amin certificate.
• Must have practical knowledge and experience in land measurement and survey.
• Must be physically fit and of good character.

5️⃣ Chainman

• Must have retired from the post of Chainman.
• Must have experience in survey-related field work.
• Must be physically fit and of good character.

6️⃣ Process Server

• Must have retired from the post of Process Server
• OR
• Must be above 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read and write Odia and must have passed at least M.E. standard.
• Must be physically fit and of good character

Note

Retired Government employees having experience in land acquisition work shall be given preference.

📜 Terms and Conditions

1. Engagement will be made till completion of the project.
2. Selected personnel shall discharge duties as assigned by the Tahasildar-cum-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Nabarangpur.
3. Retired Government employees against whom any vigilance case, departmental proceeding or criminal case is pending or contemplated shall not be selected.
4. Contractual engagement shall not be treated as Government service for pension or retirement benefits.
5. Contract may be terminated at any time without prior notice for unsatisfactory performance or misconduct.
6. In case of resignation, one month’s prior notice is required.
7. Authority reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
8. Applications must reach the office on or before 21.02.2026. Applications received after due date shall be summarily rejected.
