The Counsellor will be appointed in the Court of the Judge, Family Court, Angul.
Eligibility & Qualification
A candidate must fulfill the following conditions
- Must be a citizen of India
- Must have Master Degree in Social Science preferably in Sociology or Psychology
- If such candidates are not available, persons above the age of 35 years working in the field of social service / welfare activities with degree in Social Science may be considered
- Must have minimum 3 years experience in family counselling / social service / welfare activities
- Must be able to read, write and speak Odia language and have passed Odia test equivalent to M.E. standard
- Must be of sound health and good character
- Candidate must not have more than one spouse living
Functions of Counsellor
The Counsellor will assist the court in settlement of disputes between parties.
He / She will advise the parties and help in reconciliation in family related matters as directed by the Court.
