CTET Relaxation:
- In the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidates without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible
Important Notes on Payment
- Payment is consolidated on monthly basis
- No vacation pay during Summer / Autumn / Winter breaks
- Payment calculated on pro rata basis for absence
- Minimum service of 20 days per month required (excluding public holidays)
- Special leave of 10 days per year maximum (as per Finance Department OM No. 23689 dated 23.06.2012)
- Leave will not be carried over to next year

Selection will be based on career marks computed as follows:
For TGTs
- 10% of marks in HSC (without extra optional) + Bachelor Degree + B.Ed. taken together
For PGTs and Principals
- 10% of marks in HSC (without extra optional) + Bachelor Degree + Master Degree + M.Phil. & PhD + B.Ed. taken together
- M.Phil. and PhD degrees carry 5 extra marks each in computation
Example calculation: If a candidate has 67%, 62%, and 70% in HSC, Bachelor Degree, and B.Ed. respectively — computation = 6.7 + 6.2 + 7.0 = 19.9 marks
