Important Note on Women’s Reservation: The vacancy reserved for women/PH (Persons with Disability)/Ex-servicemen/Sports Person is included within the total of the respective category — it is not an additional quota. For example, out of the 10 ST vacancies in Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, 4 are earmarked for women within that same ST total.

Other important notes:

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist / Stenographer Grade-III / Junior Typist:

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must have passed at least +3 Examination (or equivalent) from a recognized University.
  • Must have at least passed a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
  • Age: Over 18 years and below 42 years as on 28.08.2026 (upper age limit relaxable for reserved categories as per government rules).
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia, and must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. Standard.
  • Must be of good character, sound health, good physique, and free from organic defect, bodily infirmity, or communicable disease.
  • Must not have more than one spouse living, if married.
  • Must have registered their name in an Employment Exchange.
  • No criminal proceeding should be pending against the candidate.
  • For Junior Typist: Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English.
  • For Stenographer Grade-III: Minimum 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typing.
  • Candidates already working under State or Central Government (temporary or permanent) may also apply, provided they meet the qualification and age criteria, and must inform their Head of Office in writing and obtain a “No Objection Certificate.”

For Salaried Amin (additional/different criteria):

Must fulfil the common criteria above (citizenship, age, Odia language test, good character, sound health, one-spouse condition, no pending criminal case, NOC if in government service) — except the +3 and Computer Diploma clauses — and additionally must:

  • Have passed the matriculation examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
  • Have passed Revenue Inspector Training from a Government/recognized institution.
  • Possess knowledge of computers.

Note: Regular scale of pay and applicability of Odisha Group-C & Group-D (Contractual appointment) Rules, 2013 for these posts is subject to the outcome of W.P.(C) No. 1273 of 2014 pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Orissa, Cuttack.

  1. Download/obtain the prescribed Form-A (Application Format) and Annexure-I (List of Enclosures).
  2. Fill in the application form completely in your own handwriting with full signature, along with all required particulars.
  3. Attach a recent self-attested passport-size photograph on the form as indicated.
  4. Enclose all required self-attested documents (listed in the Document Checklist below) in the sequence shown in the prescribed form.
  5. Submit a separate application for each post you wish to apply for. Clearly mention the post name in CAPITAL letters with underline on top of both the application form and the envelope.
  6. Candidates currently in Government service must apply through proper channel and attach a self-attested “No Objection Certificate” from their employer.
  7. Send the completed application with all documents by Speed Post only, addressed to: The Registrar, Civil Courts, Bhadrak, At- Nalanga, P.O- Barikpur Bazar, Dist- Bhadrak, Pin-756112 so as to reach on or before 5:00 PM on 28.08.2026.
