- Treatment of large herbivores

🩺 Roles & Responsibilities
The selected Wildlife Veterinary Officer will:
- Provide healthcare to sick, injured, and diseased wild animals
- Conduct wildlife disease surveillance
- Respond during wildlife disease outbreaks
- Perform post-mortem examinations of wild animals
- Collect and dispatch biological samples
- Coordinate with Animal Husbandry Department and local veterinary staff
- Conduct awareness programs for villagers near forest areas
- Maintain detailed records of veterinary activities

The officer will work under the Mobile Veterinary Unit (MVU) of Angul Forest Division and may be deployed in:
- Forest areas of Angul Division
- Adjacent forest divisions during emergency situations
