1. Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist

  • Passed +3 (Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University
  • Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia (passed Odia at ME Standard level)
  • Must be an Indian citizen
  • Good character, sound health, no organic defects
  • No more than one living spouse (if married)
  • No criminal proceeding pending
  • Govt. servants may apply through proper channel with NOC from Head of Office

2. Stenographer Grade-III

  • All eligibility conditions of Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist apply
  • Additionally: minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand and 40 words per minute in Typewriting (through Computer System)

3. Junior Typist

  • All eligibility conditions of Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist apply
  • Additionally: minimum speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting (through Computer System)

4. Salaried Amin

  • Must be an Indian citizen
  • Age 18–42 years as on 01.05.2026
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia (passed Odia at ME Standard level)

  1. After receipt of applications, career merit lists are prepared (category-wise, descending order) based on aggregate percentage of HSC + +2 + +3 marks.
  2. Candidates up to 20 times the vacancy per category are called for the Written Test.
  3. Based on written test marks, up to 10 times the vacancy per category are shortlisted for Practical/Skill Test.
  4. Candidates qualifying the Practical/Skill Test are called for Viva-Voce.
  5. Final merit list is prepared combining Written Test + Practical + Viva-Voce marks (category-wise, descending order).
  6. Select list remains valid for one year from the date of first appointment or until the next recruitment, whichever is earlier.
  7. Candidates applying for multiple posts may appear in the examination for only one post of their choice.
