Age Limit
- Retired Teachers: Upper age limit is 65 years.

Remuneration / Honorarium
- Per Class Rate: ₹400/- per class or period at Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI & XII).
- Maximum Monthly Capping: Maximum ₹16,000/- per month.
Selection Process & Weightage Scheme
Selection will be done purely on a merit basis calculated from academic and professional qualifications:
- Academic Weightage: 70 Marks
- Training Weightage (B.Ed): 30 Marks
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
Candidates whose applications are received by 17.09.2026 must attend the original document verification on 19.09.2026 at the District Welfare Office, Nabarangpur.
Duties and Responsibilities of Guest Teachers
Selected Guest Teachers will be responsible for:
- Teaching students in the concerned subject according to the prescribed syllabus.
- Timely correction of assignments.
- Evaluation of test papers and projects.
- Performing other academic responsibilities assigned by the school.
Important Terms and Conditions
- Guest Teachers will be hired only against sanctioned vacant posts.
- The engagement will continue until a regular teacher joins or until the academic requirement ends.
- Guest Teachers will have no claim for regular appointment.
- The engagement does not provide a right to become part of the regular teaching cadre.
- Working hours and period duration will be according to the school timetable.
- The service of a Guest Teacher may automatically end if the teacher remains absent without authorization continuously for seven days.
