Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Sports persons) will be as per relevant Acts, Rules, Orders, or Instructions of the Government of Odisha currently in force.


For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist & Stenographer Grade-III

All three of these posts share the same basic academic requirement:

  • Must have passed at least +3 (Graduation) examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognised University
  • Must have passed at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institute
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard
  • Must be of good character, sound health, and good physique
  • Must not have more than one spouse living (if married)

Additional requirements for Stenographer Grade-III:

  • Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand
  • Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting
  • Typewriting test will be done through Computer System in English language only

Additional requirement for Junior Typist:

  • Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting
  • Typewriting test will be done through Computer System in English language only

For Salaried Amin

The Salaried Amin post has different requirements from the other three:

  • Must have passed the Matriculation (HSC) examination or equivalent from a recognised Board
  • Must possess knowledge in Computer Operation
  • Must have passed the Revenue Inspector Training from a recognised Institute
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard
  • Must be of good character, sound health, active habits, and free from organic defects
