Bank of Baroda Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Apply Online for 5000 Seats

Bank of Baroda Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has officially been released

If you are a fresh graduate looking for a way to step into the banking sector, Bank of Baroda has just opened one of the biggest opportunities of the year. The bank has officially released Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01, dated 19 May 2026, inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 across India.
A total of 5,000 training seats are available across 35 States and Union Territories, with the application window already open from 19 May 2026 and closing on 08 June 2026.
Before we get into the details, there is one critical thing every candidate must understand clearly right at the start:

⚠️ This is NOT a job. This is NOT regular employment. This is NOT contractual employment. Apprentices will only be “Trainees” in the Bank and will NOT be treated as employees. They will NOT be entitled to any benefits available to regular or contractual employees. Bank of Baroda has NO obligation to offer regular employment after the apprenticeship period. After completion of the 12-month training, candidates will be automatically relieved from their respective work areas.

With that honestly stated, this apprenticeship is still a genuinely valuable opportunity — a 12-month, paid, on-the-job training experience inside one of India’s largest public sector banks, with a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/-, real banking exposure, and an official Apprenticeship Certificate. For fresh graduates aiming to build a banking career, this is a meaningful first step.
Now let us break down every detail accurately.

Bank of Baroda is one of India’s leading public sector banks, with a presence across every state and union territory. The apprenticeship programme is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961, which is a Government of India statute that enables establishments to provide structured on-the-job training to graduates.
This programme is managed in partnership with BFSI SSC (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Sector Skill Council of India). The selection process — including the online examination — is conducted by BFSI SSC on behalf of Bank of Baroda.
As an apprentice, you will get to work inside a Bank of Baroda branch, learn banking operations first-hand, understand real-world financial processes, and earn a stipend while doing so. At the end of 12 months, you will receive an official Apprenticeship Certificate, which is a recognised credential in the banking and financial services sector.

If you are a fresh graduate wondering how to enter the banking sector without prior experience, the Bank of Baroda Apprenticeship Programme 2026 is genuinely worth considering — with clear eyes.
Here is what you get: 12 months of real banking experience inside one of India’s largest public sector banks, a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/-, and an official Apprenticeship Certificate that holds credibility in the banking and financial services sector. For many candidates, this experience becomes the foundation for clearing subsequent banking examinations like IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, and others.
Here is what you do NOT get: permanent employment, job security, or any guarantee of absorption into the Bank. This must be understood clearly before applying.
If you are a fresh graduate, below 28 years of age, with no prior year-long work experience, and registered on NATS or NAPS — this is a genuine opportunity to spend a productive year gaining banking exposure.
The window closes on 08 June 2026. Start your NATS/NAPS registration today.
