Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will draw pay in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix (as per ORSP Rules-2017), corresponding to the pre-revised Pay Band-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with Grade Pay of ₹5,400, plus usual Dearness Allowance and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Selection Process
Selection happens in three stages, totaling 550 marks (Prelim marks are for screening only and not counted in the final merit):
- Preliminary Examination — 100 marks, 100 MCQs, Civil Engineering paper, 1.5 hours duration, negative marking of 25% per wrong answer. This is a screening test only — shortlists roughly 10x the number of vacancies per category for the Main Exam.
- Main Examination — 500 marks total:
